HOD Church

Expanding the Kingdom of God, one Life at a Time

Welcome to the House of Destiny

Nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us that is in Jesus Christ our Lord.

House of Destiny Church (HDC) was launched on Easter Sunday in 2012. HDC is a non-denominational church whose mission is to: “Expand the KINGDOM of GOD, one LIFE at a time”. Today HDC has 17 nations represented. We are a group of individuals just like you. Many of us have had to overcome trials, tribulations, short falls and many bad decisions but today we are still standing only by the Grace of God.

Please click on the links below that will give you a little insight on HDC.

Our Vision

The vision of House of Destiny is to impact our community, our nation and our world with the love and grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Expanding the Kingdom of God, one Life at a Time

We Believe

This church accepts the Scriptures as the revealed Word of God, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts these Statements of Fundamental Truths and Doctrine.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 1 Pet. 1:21-25; Heb. 4:12)

The triune Godhead is comprised of 3 separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Is. 41:10-11; Mat. 21:19; Luke 3:22)

Man created well and upright, for God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.” But, man, by voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21)

(a) Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind (Psalm 103:3), being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through faith man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. (Luke 24:47, John 3:3; Rom. 10:13-15; Eph. 2:l1; and Tit. 2:11; 3:5-7)

(b) The evidence of Salvation. The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is life of righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:24; Tit. 2:12).

(a) The Baptism in Water. The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the scriptures. All who repent and believe on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Mat. 2l:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48, and Rom. 6:4)

(b) The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4), a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Cor. 2:26); and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined on all believers “till He come”.

All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 8; 1 Cor. 2:1-31). This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Acts 8: 12-17; 10:44-46; 2:14-16; and 15:7-9).

The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven. (Eph. 1:22-23; 2:22; and Heb. 12:23)

And he gave some Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, & Teachers…. (Eph. 4:11-13). This Ministry believes that the five-fold ministries still remains active and are valid offices for the church today.

Divine Healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. (Is. 53:4-5; Mat. 8:16-17; & James 5:14-16)

The resurrected of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is imminent and blessed hope of the church. (1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rom. 8:23; Tit. 2:13; & 1 Cor. 15:51-52)

The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope followed by the visible return of Christ and his saints to reign on earth for one thousand years (Zech. 15:5; Mar. 24:27, 30; Rev. 1:7, 19-20, and Rom 11:26-27) and the establishment of universal peace. (Is. 2:6-9, Ps. 72:3-8, & Mic. 4:3-4)

There will be final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Mat. 25:46; Mark 9:43, 38; Rev. 9:20; 20:11-15 & 21:8)

“We according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Pet. 3:13, & Rev. 21, 22)

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of the marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex (Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5-7,13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30, 20:13; Rom. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8, & Heb. 13:4). We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman (Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; & Eph. 5:22-23)

Core Values

What To Expect During An HDC Experience

HDC has many activities throughout the week, but most people encounter us for the first time during our weekly Sunday worship services.

Our Sunday services at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. (Español) are a welcoming atmosphere. It is our desire to be able to reach a multi-generational community with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. The sanctuary opens at 9:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. for prayer prior to the start of first service and also at 12:30 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. for prayer prior to start of the Español service. Services typically last around 90 minutes.

HDC also gathers as a family on Tuesdays & Fridays;
Tuesday: It’s for our corporate time of bible study. We offer classes for ages 3 & up. This is a bilingual setting and it’s an ideal place to bring your family. The studies focus on teaching from God’s Word. Tuesday night’s bible study is from 7:00 p.m. till 8:15 p.m.

Friday: It’s our Night of Worship. During this Bilingual time of worship and prayer, it is our desire to touch the throne room of God with our worship as a sweet fragrance. Worship starts at 7:15 p.m.

The worship music you’ll hear in our services is a blend of old hymns you may remember from  childhood, today’s contemporary worship music and everything in between – all delivered in a spirit of excitement about who God is and what He’s done for us. The teachings and sermons that you will hear will convince you of the incredible reality of God’s love and challenge you to live for Him – not only during our worship times together, but throughout the week.

What about the kids? Will enjoy Destiny Kids each and every week! Children from pre-school age to 5th grade love learning about Jesus in an affirming, caring atmosphere. We know you’ll enjoy your time with us, and we look forward to welcoming you into our church family.

Church Ordinances & Special Ceremonies

Baby Dedications – At HDC there are many times throughout the year a parent can dedicate their child to the Lord, as well as to make the needed vow and commitment to God themselves that is a part of baby dedication. The baby dedication is inherently linked to the parent serving and living for God faithfully and consistently themselves. They will be the ones who will impact their children for Christ most by their word and example. Click here for the Baby Dedication Packet

Water Baptism – The Baptism in Water is an important of HDC as the individuals declare their new life in Christ. The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the scriptures. All who repent and believe on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Mat. 21:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48, and Rom. 6:4) Click here for the Water Baptism Packet

Holy Communion – The Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) is practiced at HDC on specific times a year chosen by the Pastoral Staff as we want to honor the meaning and not make it a tradition. Holy Communion, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4), a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Cor. 2:26); and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined on all believers “till He come”

Marriages – House of Destiny Church and its ministers only perform ceremonies to those associated with House of Destiny Church. House of Destiny Church believes that marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only within the confines of marriage. Because marriage is a covenant between one man, one woman, and God, the church has the responsibility, in its sole discretion, to evaluate the readiness of those seeking to enter into the marriage covenant.

In keeping with biblical teaching, the Church requires the following for any couple seeking to celebrate a marriage at the Church:

Faith – Both bride and groom must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 6:14).

Celibacy – he engaged couple must live separately before their wedding day. Sexual intimacy is to be celebrated exclusively within marriage (1 Thess. 4:3).

Man / Woman Monogamy – Marriage is a sacred union of one man and one woman. House of Destiny Church does not recognize, nor will it take part in, any ceremony that does not meet this basic criterion (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4-5).

Premarital Counseling – The engaged couple must participate in counseling program with the length of counseling to be determined prior to the wedding ceremony. Please schedule at least 8 weeks in advance to allow adequate time for premarital counseling.

  • Church Membership/Attendance – Either the bride or groom or their parents must be members/ regular attendees at House of Destiny Church. Finally, for any weddings celebrated outside the Church, the pastors/ministers/clergy and staff of House of Destiny Church shall only officiate weddings and solemnize marriages between one man and one woman in accordance to the standards set forth.
